Thanks to Charlie Brown, Mindy Brown, Robert Craig, and Tracy Ellis who were the adult leaders in uniform who helped organize the day and who represented all the adults who ...

The View from the Pulpit – 8/9/10Dear Church Family Good day all. Have you ever had writer’s block? I’m sitting here wondering what to write to you this morning. Truthfully I can’t think of a thing as warm rain sprinkles down. Sunday was Sunday. Many of our group is squeezing every minute out of summer vacation; some in Colorado to take a train to Utah’s tabernacle,... [Read more of this review]

Dear Church Family Just a quick note this morning to thank those of you who were able to worship God with us yesterday morning. It was a blessing; wonderful prayers of joy and concern, beautiful special music offered by Daryl Wilcoxson, Ginny Andrews, Iantha Edwards, Jan McDaniel, Anita Brogden, and Emily Story, and a simple meal to remind us of all... Dear Church Family Finally, some rain fell last night for the whole town of Kennett. I heard reports yesterday of real gulley washers on Thursday and Friday last week at Three Rivers Regional Medical Center and Masterson School. But we got nothing here at 300 College or at 205 Charles. One of our members reported that only half their patio table... [Read more of this review]

What are you seeing outside your window today? Amos looked out one day and saw God standing there next to a freshly built wall, holding a plumb-line. Do you know what a plumb-line is? What if God was outside your window holding one of those things? It’s an interesting vision coming to us on the Sunday after celebrating the birth of our... [Read more of this review]

Dear Church Family: Grace and Peace to you all as we begin another year together. What? A new year? You may be wondering if the Pastor got a little too close to those “rockets bursting in air.” No. It did get a little loud in our neighborhood but nothing that would make me lose my mind. It’s just that United Methodist’s are a... [Read more of this review]
