Our Mission …to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything that Jesus commanded.

The people of the First United Methodist Church in Kennett, MO received recognition from United Methodist Communications as a “Welcoming Congregation” in May of 2006.  This award demonstrates that the people of 1st UMC Kennett recognize hospitality as a vital ministry, embrace newcomers and provide opportunity for discipleship in our congregation.
