In Memoriam
Bid Miles Goodbye Bid Miles for now. There are two things I know about this great and wonderful lady. Only God knows how much she will be missed by the people of FUMC. Secondly she is with God right now wearing her angel wings that she so greatly deserves. Thank you God for letting me know this wonderful person during my lifetime, and I’m hoping and praying that I will be seeing her again someday. Darlene Kaneff
If there are crocheted items, or yarn, I would like our group to keep Darlene’s ministry alive. She would give me blankets every week for nursing home patients and was already starting Christmas presents for her Sunday School class for next year. Her son may not know how far reaching her handiwork was…and I would not want a single crocheted item to be thrown away. I will make sure the ladies help distribute things thoughtfully and if there is yarn, we can use it in the group to honor her. She reminds me of Dorcas…in a way, also, she will never have to face incapacitation as I am now facing with mom. Because if Darlene was in any way incapacitated, she would have lost her purpose…and I think that Darlene’s life was one full to overflowing with purpose. I am sure she came to a screeching halt in heaven…she was purposeful until the end. Lynne Geary
